Compute Nodes: 128 Appro hyperBlade dual Opteron compute nodes

Service Nodes: 3 Appro 1U dual Opteron servers for file, login, and management services.

CPUs: 256 AMD Opteron Model 240 processors in 128 compute nodes. 6 Opteron Model 240 processors in 3 service nodes.

Memory: Total of 384GB RAM (PC2700 DDR w/ ECC) across the compute nodes. 64 nodes with 4GB, 64 nodes with 2GB. Service nodes have 4GB each.

Disk: JetStor 3TB FC-IDE RAID

Interconnect:
36 InfiniBand 4X (10Gbps) links via Infinicon InfinIO 3016 and 2000 switches
144 Gigabit Ethernet ports from a Cisco 4006 switch

Software: Currently using SuSE 8.2 Enterprise Beta 9 x86-64 on the compute nodes. Custom Linux 2.4.21 kernel from InfiniCon. The fileserver runs 32-bit RedHat 9 with a 2.6.0-test4 kernel. Portland Group compilers for x86-64.
